MPs to queue barge

In MPs, Westminster on October 9, 2007 at 8:33 pm

Click HERE to read a story over at Iain Dale’s blog, proving that some MPs really do think they are the most important people to ever walk the streets of Westminster.

  1. Yes, rather conceited when you first look at it, however it’s always been custom in whatever school i’ve been in to allow teachers and prefects to jump the queue. So unsure about that.

I love the new look of the blog mate! Very impresive. Kudos to Martine Martin.

  2. Thanks, Will B!

Funnily enough, I was asked to sign a petition on this issue yesterday by someone from Lembit’s office. Something they intend to send round.

I myself am a bit puzzled, since most MPs have lackeys to stand in line for them anyway, so it seems a moot point. Also, it’s always been the generally accepted etiquette to let them go first; so apparently putting it down on paper (or email even) is what is inspiring ire, not any potential changes that may come about because of it.
