Blogpower Resignation

In Uncategorized on January 5, 2008 at 10:17 am

It is with regret that I have tendered my resignation from Blogpower. I posted yesterday about ethics and integrity in blogging. Since then James Higham has had his moderator status revoked, sending him a clear message that he is not welcome in any admin role; even though recently the admins were happy for him to continue in an archivist role.

Blogpower does not resemble the group I joined over a year ago. It has saddened me the way it has developed.

  1. Andrew

I’m sorry to see that you have left BP although I can understand and respect your decision. I have written privately to James about his decision.

I’m not leaving BP yet – I’m considering my position – but, because I didn’t keep as close an eye on things as I could, I’m not really clued up on what has happened here. Unfortunately I can see BP disintegrate around me as I prevaricate.

Good luck for the future and I’ll keep you on my blogroll

  2. Calum

Thank you for your comment. You will also be on my blogroll. I will have to spend some time over the course of the weekend updating it.

  3. Shame to see you leave BP.

By the way, I saw your McCain badge and read more about him and his policies and how they compared to the others. He seems the best bet compared to the rest, foreign policy wise at least.
